Situated in the southwestern part of Iloilo, Philippines,  Alimodian is a picturesque, quiet and small town of 31,000 people. It is a farming town with more than a quarter of agricultural land. Its land is blessed with farm produce such as bananas, mangoes and scattered with vast rice and cornfields and a graze land  to feed the animals such as cos, goats and carabaos. It’s so called “seven cities” in the northern part of the town has a cool climate enough for them to yield crops such as carrots, cauliflower, lettuce, broccoli and even strawberry. They will soon culture and harvest  flowers of different kinds. Alimodian is poised to be the next food basket and playground capital of Iloilo province. Not only does it yield crops but also gifted with awesome nature. One of these is the famous Agony Hill, so called to commemorate the passion and sufferings of Christ and a place of solitude and reflection during Holy Week.
